Teaching Assistant - SEN Primary School - M32
Location: M32 area, Manchester
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Pay Rate: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour
Hours: 8:30am - 3:00pm (Monday to Friday)
Reeson Education is seeking a compassionate and skilled Teaching Assistant for a specialist SEN primary school in the M32 area. This full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role will support children across EYFS and KS1 with a range of complex needs including ASD, ADHD, MLD, SEMH, SLD, Global Delay, and other learning difficulties.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide vital support to pupils with special educational needs, helping them access the curriculum and develop essential skills in a nurturing and inclusive environment. This Teaching Assistant position involves working 1:1, in small groups, and supporting whole-class activities depending on pupils' needs.
The ideal Teaching Assistant will:
Have experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a SEN or special school setting
Be confident and patient supporting children with a variety of additional needs
Be flexible and adaptable to support EYFS and KS1 pupils as a Teaching Assistant
Hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to apply
Be able to commit to full-time hours Monday to Friday
