Teaching Assistant
Location: Northampton - Kettering
Salary: Competitive, dependant on salary
Contract Type: Full Time, Part Time, Flexible Supply
Simply Education is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a SEND school environment based in Kettering. This role is for someone who is qualified as a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students on a 1:1 basis. We are a driven school who provide support for students with a wide range of needs.
The role:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis or in groups
Help the teacher to support and manage the class as well as to prepare the lessons
Work with pupils with SEND with the guidance of the Teacher
Support those with social and emotional and personal development needsThe right person will have:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Experience of working as a Teaching Assistant within a SEND school OR a SEND environment
A passion for working with pupils with SEN and their families
High level of resilience and determinationAll candidates who register with Simply Education are required to provide references for the previous 2 years of work, as well as complete an enhanced DBS check. Due to COVID-19 regulations, any interviews we hold will be conducted over a Zoom call.
