Job Opportunity: General Teaching Assistant – Start September 2025 | £89+ per day | NP19
Location: NP19 Area – Supportive & Inclusive Primary School
Start Date: September 2025
Pay: £89 per day
Hours: Monday–Friday | 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Term-Time Only

A friendly and inclusive primary school in the NP19 area is looking for a committed General Teaching Assistant to join their team this September. Whether you have previous classroom experience or are new to education, this role offers the chance to make a real difference in a supportive school environment.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting the class teacher with lessons and daily classroom activities
Working with children on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, including those with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
Assisting with intervention sessions to help pupils achieve their learning goals
Helping create a positive, engaging, and safe learning environment
Supporting with classroom organisation and preparing learning resources
We’re Looking For:
Enthusiastic, caring, and reliable individuals
A genuine interest in children’s learning and development
Experience with ALN or in a school setting is beneficial but not essential
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
