Vision for Education are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Ashford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and development as they prepare for the transition to secondary school.
The Role
As a Year 6 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide targeted support to pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Assist the class teacher with the delivery of engaging and creative lessons.
Support children in preparation for SATs, helping to build their confidence and knowledge.
Encourage positive behaviour and help create a safe, supportive learning environment.
Work closely with the school team to ensure every child reaches their potential.

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
Experience working with children, ideally within Key Stage 2.
A patient, caring, and proactive approach.
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
A genuine passion for education and supporting children’s learning.
A valid DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
