Salary: £85–£95 per day (depending on experience/qualifications)

About the Role
ABC Teachers are looking for resilient and adaptable Teaching Assistants to join Kitts Green Academy, part of Thrive Education Partnership. This role involves supporting boys aged 5–14 who present with SEMH needs, attachment difficulties, and challenging behaviours.
You will:
Work one-to-one and in small groups, supporting emotional regulation and engagement.
Assist teachers in delivering lessons tailored to students with SEMH needs.
Implement de-escalation and behaviour support strategies.
Provide pastoral care, helping pupils build trust and resilience.
Encourage independence, life skills, and positive social interaction.
About the School
Kitts Green Academy is a specialist provision for boys with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties. The school adopts a trauma-informed approach, working closely with families and external agencies to ensure each child receives consistent and structured support.
The Ideal Candidate ⭐
Experience in an SEMH setting (school, youth work, or care).
Strong behaviour management skills and emotional resilience.
Empathetic, patient, and able to build positive relationships.
A valid DBS or willingness to apply.
