Mainstream Primary School - M22 Postcode
Full-Time | Long-Term | Start ASAP
Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour
Monday to Friday | 8:30am - 3:45pm | 30-minute lunch break
Reeson Education is recruiting for a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant mainstream primary school in the M22 postcode. This is a full-time, long-term Teaching Assistant role, supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2 with varying levels of need. The position is available immediately and will run until the end of the school year, with the potential for further opportunities.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will provide high-quality support both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring all pupils have the best possible learning experience. You will work with children with a range of SEN needs, delivering 1:1 and group interventions, supporting classroom activities, and helping to develop social, emotional, and academic skills.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils with a variety of needs across KS1 and KS2
Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to aid learning and development
Assist in the classroom to ensure smooth lesson delivery
Support pupils with SEMH, ADHD, ASD, and other additional needs
Help with personal, social, and emotional development
Promote inclusion, engagement, and positive behaviour
Work alongside teachers and other staff to deliver tailored support
Assist with preparing resources and setting up activities
Monitor progress and provide feedback to teachers on pupil development
Be a reliable and consistent presence for pupils as a Teaching Assistant
We're looking for a Teaching Assistant who:
Is experienced in supporting KS1 and KS2 pupils with SEN
Is adaptable, patient, and passionate about helping children succeed
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Can remain calm and positive in challenging situations
Is committed to full-time, long-term work from 8:30am - 3:45pm
