Job Description
A friendly and inclusive primary school in the heart of Levenshulme is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 team. This position is for a general Teaching Assistant in a Year 3 class, starting immediately and continuing on a supply basis, through Tradewind until at least the end of the academic year.
Key Responsibilities
Provide in-class support to the class teacher and assist with the delivery of engaging lessons
Work with small groups and individual pupils to support learning and progress
Help to maintain a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment
Support pupils with varying abilities and needs, promoting independence and confidence
Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources and displays
Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values and ethos

To join us and be successful in this role you will need to:
Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
Prior experience of working in a U.K primary school setting
Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
