Your Role:
Support the class teacher with lesson delivery, classroom management, and group activities.
Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning, particularly in reading, phonics, English, and Maths.
Help prepare learning resources and assist with classroom displays and marking.
Provide tailored support for pupils with SEND, adapting materials and offering 1:1 support where needed.
Encourage positive behaviour and emotional regulation using calm, consistent strategies.
Foster confidence and independence in pupils through encouragement and praise.
Monitor pupil progress and communicate observations with teaching staff.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Flexible, reliable, and committed to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
