Support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 in mainstream classes
Provide targeted support for students with SEN, SEMH, and challenging behaviour
Deliver one-to-one and small group interventions to boost academic progress
Assist teachers with lesson delivery, classroom activities, and differentiation
Apply de-escalation and positive behaviour management strategies
Promote emotional regulation, resilience, and inclusion across the school
Work closely with teachers and the SEN department to ensure all students make progressRequirements: Teaching Assistant - Waltham Forest
A degree or strong A-levels (any subject) desirable
Experience supporting young people (paid or voluntary), ideally in a school setting
Previous SEN/SEMH experience or knowledge of behaviour management strategies highly beneficial
A genuine passion for education and student development
Strong communication, empathy, and teamwork skills
