Teaching Assistant – Secondary School (Oldham and surrounding areas)

About the Role:
As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will:
Provide classroom support to pupils aged 11–16, helping them to access learning and achieve their potential.
Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging lessons and targeted interventions.
Support students with additional needs, including SEND, behavioural, and emotional support.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment.
Build strong relationships with students, staff, and families to encourage progress and wellbeing.
About You:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Experienced working with secondary-aged students (school-based experience desirable).
Qualified at Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent).
Passionate about education and helping young people overcome barriers to learning.
Resilient, patient, and adaptable with excellent communication skills.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
