Teaching Assistant - Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Full Time position
£80 - £90 / day.
Tunbridge Wells, Kent area.The school are looking for motivated and proactive LSAs/TAs to work alongside students that have ASD (autism spectrum disorder), as well as those that require assistance with reading and writing. You will be working either 1:1 with pupils or in small groups, alongside other TAs/LSAs.
This well organised secondary school in the Tunbridge Wells, Kent area is seeking several learning support assistants / teaching assistants to start working in between September 2025 and December 2025. The school offers fantastic opportunities to progress and experience new types of roles, previously teaching assistants have been given the opportunity to work as a cover supervisor and potentially enrol on teacher training programmes.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will have experience;
Supporting pupils one-to-one or in small groups, fostering learning and independence.
Assisting with classroom management and create a calm, supportive environment.
Preparing tailored resources and support communication and social skills development.
A degree is desirable but not essential.
Experience working alongside students with SEN is a bonus.
