Are you a passionate Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children in KS1?
We are looking for a dedicated and nurturing Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stratford-upon-Avon for a long-term role, with a trial starting tomorrow.
The Role

Support a Year 2 class on a long-term basis

Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide individual support
*
Assist pupils with autism, SEMH, and ADHD, helping them access learning in a positive way
*
Be a calm, patient, and nurturing presence, while maintaining firm boundaries when required
*
Actively contribute to the classroom – this is a role for someone confident and proactive, not someone who needs managing
What We’re Looking For
*
Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, or Learning Support Assistant in a primary school
*
Strong understanding of autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs in children
*
A calm and encouraging approach, with the ability to support behaviour positively
*
Reliable, proactive, and able to take initiative in the classroom
*
Available to trial immediately and commit to a long-term position
