Job Title: Teaching Assistant Location: M13, Manchester Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (8:30 AM start - finish times vary between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM, with one early 2:30 finish per week) Pay: £13.69 to £15.87 per hour Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term, ongoing Reeson Education are recruiting a Teaching Assistant to work in a vibrant and supportive Primary PRU based in the M13 area of Manchester. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for a Teaching Assistant who is motivated, resilient, and passionate about supporting children with a wide range of needs. The Teaching Assistant will be joining a busy provision that works with pupils presenting with complex needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, behavioural challenges, SLD, trauma-related needs, and more. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing structure, encouragement, and tailored support to help pupils progress both socially and academically. Teaching Assistant Role Information: Full-time, long-term role with the opportunity to become permanent. Based in a well-established Primary PRU in the M13 postcode. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM start, finish between 2:30 PM and 5:00 PM depending on the day. Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour (PAYE or Umbrella). Start Date: ASAP.Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with a range of additional needs. Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to implement personalised strategies. Support children in regulating behaviour, building confidence, and engaging in learning. Encourage positive social and emotional development. Adapt to a fast-paced and varied environment while maintaining a calm, consistent approach.Teaching Assistant Requirements: Previous experience working with children with additional needs is highly desirable. Strong behaviour management skills with a nurturing and patient approach. Ability to adapt quickly, use initiative, and remain resilient under pressure. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
