Job Description
We are a specialist setting in Redhill that supports children and young people with a range of learning difficulties and complex needs. Our aim is to provide a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment where every pupil is valued and supported to reach their full potential.
We are seeking enthusiastic and caring Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils’ learning on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.
Work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver tailored support strategies.
Help children develop their communication, social, and independence skills.
Support positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
Contribute to creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or young people (school or SEN experience essential).
A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Willingness to undertake training (full training will be provided).
