Teacher – Special Educational Needs (SEN)
Location: Ware
Hours: 8:15 AM – 4:45 PM, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)

We are working with an outstanding SEN school in Ware, catering for students aged 11–16. The school is committed to creating a learning environment that is meaningful, engaging, and full of joy.
Your Role Will Include:
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
Supporting pupils to achieve meaningful academic and personal progress.
Providing assessment and constructive feedback in line with school policies.
Managing behaviour calmly, consistently, and positively.
Building strong, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
Participating in wider school activities and events.
Working across different school sites or outreach settings (own vehicle required for transport of pupils when necessary).

We’re Looking For:
A qualified teacher with a recognised teaching certification.
GCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent.
Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
Strong communication, classroom management, and ICT skills.
A calm, patient, and compassionate approach.
A strong commitment to inclusive teaching and safeguarding.

Applicants must be willing to undergo:
An Enhanced DBS check (Update Service registration preferred – support can be provided).
Two recent professional references (within the last 24 months).
An Overseas Police Check (if applicable – for those who have lived outside the UK for 6+ months in the past 5 years).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
