Position: Teaching Assistant (SEN Support)
Location: Islington Secondary School
Contract: Long Term, Full Time
Hours: 8.30am - 4.00pm, Monday to Friday
We are recruiting a Teaching Assistant with a focus on SEN support for a welcoming secondary school in Islington.
Your Role:
Support students with SEN in class, ensuring full curriculum access.
Provide targeted 1:1 or group interventions.
Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to meet pupil needs.
Encourage independence and positive behaviour.
Candidate Requirements:
Previous experience supporting children or young people with SEN.
Graduate applicants with psychology/education interest desirable.
Patience, resilience and empathy essential.
