Job Description
Teaching Assistant
We are seeking passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across Year 3 and Year 4, conducting small group interventions across the curriculum. You will also be supporting children 1:1 who require additional support.
We are looking for someone with a minimum of a Level 2 qualification.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team that values empathy, creativity, and resilience in a mainstream primary school in L20.
Responsibilities

Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual learning plans
*
Use visual aids, sensory tools, and communication strategies (e.g., PECS, Makaton)
*
Support pupils in developing social, emotional and communication skills
*
Work alongside teachers, SENCOs, and external specialists
*
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
*
Experience working with children in the last 5 years
* Minimum of Level 2 qualifications
*
* Experience supporting SEN professionally or personally
*
Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for supporting children
*
Strong communication and teamwork skills
