Learning Support Assistant / Teaching Assistant
Location: Crawley
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am - 3:00pm - Term Time only
Start Date: As soon as possible
Pay: £90-£100 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Ongoing supply with the opportunity to go permanent
We are seeking a committed and adaptable Learning Support Assistant to join our clients SEND team. This role involves supporting students with additional needs as a Teaching Assistant (LSA / TA), enabling them to fully engage in their education both in and outside the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the educational and social development of students as an LSA
Deliver targeted learning programmes to individuals or small groups
Provide in-class TA support, providing 1-2-1 encouragement and ensuring the tasks are accessible and clear for the pupil
Assist with student records, access arrangements, and SEND administration
Contribute to the preparation for Annual Reviews and other student-focused meetingsWhat We're Looking For:
Clear and effective communication skills
A caring, approachable manner with a high level of commitment
Basic ICT skills and the ability to support learning using digital tools
Flexibility, reliability, and a team-focused approach
Willingness to undertake training and professional development
previous experience supporting young people as a TA, LSA, youth worker, support worker, pastoral or behavioural assistant This is an ideal opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with SEND and shape the future generation.
