Role: Teaching Assistant Location: Sleaford, Lincolnshire Start date: January 2026 Contract: January 2026 – July 2026 (part-time, mornings only 5 days per week) Salary: £90-£105 per day (depending on experience, role and/or qualifications). About the role Heart of Supply is seeking a versatile and proactive Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school from January to July 2026, working mornings and covering the lunchtime period. As a classroom Teaching Assistant, you’ll provide classroom support under the direction of the class teacher, helping pupils to engage in learning activities and assisting with small group or one-to-one work. You’ll also play an active role in supporting positive behaviour and maintaining a happy, inclusive environment throughout the morning sessions and lunchtime. Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in primary classrooms is essential. Experience with behaviour management and de-escalation techniques would be a real advantage, along with a calm, patient approach and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships with both pupils and staff.
