Teaching Assistant - Literacy Focus
Q - Are you a graduate with a passion for Literacy and working with children?
Q - Could you share your love for Literacy to help students improve their confidence with Reading, Writing and Phonics?
If so, this Teaching Assistant - Literacy Focus position is the perfect opportunity for you. A brilliant primary school in Brent are searching for someone like yourself to support students in EYFS, KS1 & KS2, specifically focusing on their literacy development. You will be working alongside talented class teachers to deliver group intervention and 1:1 sessions, all tailored around Reading, Writing and Phonics.
Within this role you will be working within the classroom, gaining first-hand experience with a variation of pupils as you lead 1:1 and group intervention sessions to improve their reading, writing and phonics skills. This can also involve supporting pupils with SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc) and tailoring the way the curriculum is delivered to suit their individual needs.

Assisting the Playroom Leaders throughout the day
Working with pupils across EYFS, KS1 & KS2 classes
May involve working with pupils with varying SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, SP&L etc)
Small group and 1:1 work to enhance the pupils learning
ASAP Start - Full-time position
£105 - £110 per day - Term time only
