About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Tameside through our supply agency. This is a temporary to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in education.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils’ learning, both in small groups and on a one-to-one basis, while working closely with the class teacher to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Teaching Assistant Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
Provide 1:1 or small group interventions to pupils who require additional support.
Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies.

Collaborate with teachers and staff to deliver high-quality education.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children (school, nursery, or similar).
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, Childcare, or equivalent) desirable but not essential.
