Role: Teaching Assistant – Mainstream
Salary: £92 - £100 per day
Location: Wigan and surrounding areas
Contract: Flexible supply work (short-term, long-term, and day-to-day)
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Are you passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping create a positive, engaging classroom environment? We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in the Wigan area.
As a Teaching Assistant will;
Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons across.
Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
Help create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
Assist with classroom preparation, behaviour support, and learning activities.
Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working with children (school-based or similar).
A caring, patient, and proactive attitude.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
Relevant qualifications such as Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant (desirable but not essential).
