About the Setting:This nurturing and inclusive alternative provision supports children and young people who require a tailored approach to education outside of mainstream settings. The team is committed to helping pupils re-engage with learning, build confidence, and develop the skills they need for future success.The Role:We are looking for passionate, resilient, and committed individuals to join the team as Mentors and Teaching Assistants. You will play a key role in supporting pupils both academically and emotionally, helping them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Build positive relationships with pupils to support their personal and academic development
Assist in delivering tailored learning activities under the guidance of teaching staff
Support behaviour management strategies and promote a calm, respectful learning environment
Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external agencies
Contribute to the wider life of the setting and its inclusive ethosWhat We're Looking For:
Experience working with children or young people, ideally in SEN, PRU, or pastoral roles
A calm, empathetic, and patient approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable learners
