Job Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher to deliver high-quality education to our students. You will work closely with children, providing tailored support to meet their individual learning needs, both in and out of the classroom. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about education, has excellent communication skills, and is eager to contribute to the success of our school.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering lessons.
Support individual pupils or small groups with tailored learning activities.
Help children with special educational needs (SEN) in a supportive and understanding manner.
Supervise students during break times, lunch times, and other activities.
Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom resources.
Monitor and record pupils' progress, contributing to feedback and reports.
Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and staff.
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children.
Able to work effectively as part of a team, as well as independently.
Patient, adaptable, and flexible in their approach.
A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Ideally, holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience working with children in a school environment is desirable but not essential.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
