We are currently seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant for ad-hoc work in the Preston area, available from Monday to Friday. The role offers an hourly rate of £13.68 - £16.68, with flexible work available throughout the week. While the position is ad-hoc, there is strong potential for long-term and permanent opportunities based on performance and school needs.

Your responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Collaborate with children individually or in small groups to enhance their learning
Serve as a positive role model for both students and colleagues
Foster positive relationships with children and their families
Work closely with class teachers and other staff, including specialists
Help prepare lessons and tidy the classroom afterwards
Support children across the curriculum
Provide extra support to children with special educational needs
Help with marking and recording student progress
Assist during school trips and classroom activities
Attend staff meetings and contribute to the school community
Demonstrate confidence in guiding individuals or small groups
Maintain a positive attitude and clear communication at all times
Essential requirements:
Experience working with young people
Strong classroom management skills
Comfortable managing challenging behaviour
Able to engage with and motivate children
Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent)
