Job Description

We are working with an amazing primary school in the borough of Lewisham who's looking for a teaching assistant to join their school and work in reception class from January.

The successful candidate will be employed on a long-term basis working 5 days per week, until the end of the academic year, (at least).

The School / Role:

  * Located in the borough of Lewisham

  * Mainstream primary school

  * Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, term time only

  * Working in reception class

  * General teaching assistant duties

  * Start date: Monday 5th of January 2026

  * Pay rate: £105 - £120 per day, weekly pay

Requirements:

  * Experience working in schools / education / nurseries

  * Must have an enhanced DBS (or willingness to process a new one)

  * Ability to commit to a full-time role working 5 days per week
