Quorn Hall School Teaching Assistant (SEMH/Autism) Fixed term contract until 10th July 2026 Term time only (39 weeks, Monday to Friday) Actual Salary: £20,421.22 (£23,809.50 FTE) To start as soon as possible Your new role Our pupils are exceptional. Are you? We are excited to offer the opportunity for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team on an initial fixed term basis until July 2026. You will work with incredible pupils who have a range of Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The successful candidate will be expected to make a real and positive impact upon the lives of children who have a range of special educational needs (SEMH/ASD), life experiences and personalities that make every day varied and interesting. You will be able to successfully build trusting pupil relationships and motivate and encourage pupils as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate. Experience The appointed candidate will have a minimum of 1 years' experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions. Working hours: ● Term time only ● Monday -Thursday 8.15am-4.30pm ● Friday 8.15am-3.15pm The successful candidate will join the school on a temporary basis, working term time only for 5 days per week.
