Teaching Assistant – SEN Schools
Location: Farnborough
Salary: £13.75 per hour
Contract: Term Time Only (Monday to Friday)
Hours: Full-time and part-time roles available
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in schools across Farnborough. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about inclusive education and making a positive impact on young people’s lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one or small group support to pupils with a range of SEN, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties
Assist the class teacher in delivering structured educational and emotional support
Support pupils in developing social skills, confidence, and independence
Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCOs, therapists, and parents to meet individual pupil needs
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable but not essential
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
