Protocol Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants across Bristol. We are open to candidates from a variety of backgrounds, including Teaching Assistants, SEN TAs, Support Workers, Youth Workers, Mental Health Support Workers, and candidates with relevant volunteering experience.
Whether you're experienced in a school setting or looking to transfer your existing skills into education, we'd love to hear from you!
Your experience could include:
Teaching Assistant / SEN Teaching Assistant experience.
Learning Support Assistant experience.
Support Worker or Care Worker experience.
Youth Work or mentoring experience.
Mental Health Support Work.
Experience supporting children or young people.
Relevant volunteering within schools, nurseries, charities, or community settings.
6+ months of Teaching Assistant experience is also considered.
Your responsibilities may include:
Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning.
Supporting children with SEND, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex needs.
Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
Helping pupils overcome barriers to learning.
Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment.
Building positive relationships with pupils and staff.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
