Smile Education is looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Walsall, providing 1-1 support for a child with SEMH needs working in line with their EHCP. SEN experience required! The role is to start ASAP and will continue long-term.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored support and assistance to meet the specific needs of a child.
Implement personalised learning strategies and interventions to promote the child's academic and social development.
Foster a nurturing and inclusive learning environment where the child feels supported, valued, and included.
Collaborate closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the child's progress and well-being.Requirements:
Previous experience working with children with Autism or other special educational needs is advantageous.
Strong communication, patience, and empathy to effectively support the child's learning and well-being.
Ability to adapt and respond to the individual needs and preferences of the child.
