Location: North Sheffield
Salary: £17,546.10 – £18,525 per year
️ Start Date: October 2025
Contract: Full-time, Temporary (until Christmas, with potential to go temp-to-perm)
A welcoming school in North Sheffield is looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their team this October. This is a full-time role until Christmas, with every chance of becoming a long-term placement for the right person.
What you’ll be doing:
Supporting teachers in the classroom with learning activities
Providing one-to-one and small group support where needed
Helping create a safe, encouraging space for pupils to thrive
Being that calm, steady presence pupils rely on every day

Experience supporting children in a school (or transferable experience from similar settings)
A caring, positive attitude and plenty of patience
Strong communication skills and a real team-player mindset
