GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join schools in Sheffield. Whether you're looking for long-term stability or flexible daily work, this is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners’ lives. In this role of TA, you will work closely with class teachers to support student learning and classroom management providing one-to-one support, lead small group activities.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Support pupils across various subjects and ability levels.
Assist the teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of lessons.
Provide 1:1 or small group intervention where needed.
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
Contribute to progress monitoring and feedback.
Requirements for TA:
Experience working with children or young people in an educational setting.
A positive, patient, and adaptable attitude.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A CV covering the last 10 years with any gaps clearly explained.
