GSL Education are currently looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming school located in Sheffield. This role as a TA is ideal for someone who thrives in a supportive setting and is passionate about helping children develop both academically and socially.
Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant:
Provide 1:1 or group-based classroom support under the guidance of the class teacher.
Assist in delivering engaging learning activities tailored to individual pupil needs.
Support pupils with their academic, emotional, and social development.
Help manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
Work closely with teachers and other support staff to contribute to pupil progress and wellbeing.
Requirements for Teaching Assistant:
Experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable.
A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting learners.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
A full CV covering the last 10 years, with any gaps explained.
