Teaching Assistant - Tilehurst (ASAP Start)

A "Good" Ofsted-rated school in Tilehurst is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible.
This is an excellent opportunity for those considering a future career in teaching or with experience supporting young people in schools, childcare, sports, or youth settings.
The Role:
Supporting pupils across a range of subjects in Key Stages 3 and 4
Assisting with learning in core subjects such as Maths and English
Providing guidance and encouragement to students in mainstream lessons
Building positive relationships to help pupils achieve their bestSecondary Focus - SEN Support
As part of the role, you will also provide 1:1 support to a pupil with high-functioning Autism (ASD). Experience with SEN is desirable but not essential - the school is looking for someone patient, resilient, and eager to make a difference.
What We're Looking For:
A graduate or an individual with strong experience working with young people
Solid background in English and Maths is advantageous
Previous experience supporting SEN students is beneficial but not required
