About the Role
As a Teaching Assistant Tutor, you will deliver the NCFE Level 3 Award in Supporting Teaching and Learning to small groups of adult learners over 8 weeks. Your training will focus on four key units:

Understanding schools and colleges as organisations
*
Safeguarding children and young people
*
Child development
*
Health and safety in a learning environment
Courses will run in-person across Fareham, Gosport, and community venues in the New Forest, Winchester, and Basingstoke. You’ll also support learners with vital employability skills such as interview preparation, CV writing, and workplace communication.
You’ll collaborate closely with Employer Engagement Officers to ensure every successful learner receives a guaranteed job interview in the sector. From enrolment through to completion, you’ll be a trusted guide in each learner’s journey into education.
Ideal Candidate
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in early years or education, and a passion for helping adults reach their potential.
You’ll need to bring:

A PGCE or Level 4 teaching qualification
*
A relevant degree
*
Previous experience delivering Early Years or Education qualifications
*
Strong communication, ICT, and organisational skills
*
A patient, empathetic approach and the ability to support learners from a range of backgrounds
*
A full UK driving licence and access to a car (travel required across Hampshire)
*
An Enhanced DBS, which will be funded by the employer
