Job Description
Teaching Assistant | Wirral | Full-time, Long-term
Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of Wirral Secondary schools for Teaching Assistants to support Secondary pupils on a 1 to 1 and general basis.
You will be responsible for keeping students engaged and focused throughout the day.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities.
Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning and encourage progress.
Assist with the care and supervision of pupils, promoting a safe and positive learning environment.
Provide targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
Help prepare resources, set up learning activities, and maintain a stimulating classroom environment.
Contribute to the wider life of the school, including playground duties and school events.What We're Looking For:

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
Previous experience working with children or young people (desirable but not essential).
