Are you a supportive and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant seeking flexible work in a friendly school environment? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for committed Teaching Assistants to join our partner schools in Rotherham on a supply basis.

The Role

We're looking for Teaching Assistants who can bring energy, patience and initiative to the classroom. You may be working across KS3 and KS4 depending on your background and strengths. This is an excellent opportunity for those who want either day-to-day supply or longer-term roles while having the chance to positively impact children's learning.

What You'll Do

Support the class teacher with daily activities and learning tasks

Work with individual pupils or small groups to encourage progress

Assist pupils with additional needs and help them stay engaged

Contribute to a safe, inclusive and well-organised classroom

Help prepare resources and support with general classroom duties

Promote the school's values and be a positive role model

What We're Looking For

Experience working with children in a school or similar setting

A relevant qualification (Level 2/3 TA or equivalent) is an advantage

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Confidence in adapting to different classroom environments

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

A caring, committed and proactive approach
