About the Role:
As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will play a key part in daily school life - supporting teachers, guiding students, and helping to deliver engaging, effective lessons across a variety of subjects.
Your responsibilities will include:
Working closely with teachers to support learning in subjects like English, Maths, Science, and Humanities.
Providing individual or group support to students, especially those with additional needs or EAL.
Assisting with classroom management and helping maintain a focused, respectful learning environment.
Leading small group interventions or revision sessions under the direction of the teaching team.
Helping students stay on track emotionally and academically throughout the school day.
Contributing to enrichment activities and wider school life, such as clubs or trips.Who We're Looking For:

Hold a 2:2 degree or higher (subject areas like English, Maths, Science, Psychology, History or similar are particularly welcomed).
Are enthusiastic, confident communicators with a natural ability to connect with young people.
Bring a positive, proactive approach to learning support.
Are considering teacher training and want to build classroom experience before applying.
Have some experience working with children or teenagers - whether through tutoring, mentoring, summer schools, volunteering, or other roles.
Can commit to working full-time during school hours for the academic year.
