Job Description
Are you a passionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant?
Do you want to make a real difference in children's education?
Empowering Learning are working with multiple schools and nurseries in and around the South Tyneside Area and are looking for experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistants to work within Primary School or Nursery settings.
We have roles to suit those wanting day to day work to enjoy the flexibility of working when you want as well as long term and short term assignments.
Responsibilities:
Assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Support students with their learning through one-on-one assistance and small group interventions.
Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Promote the social and emotional development of students, fostering their confidence and independence.
Assist with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
Collaborate with teaching staff and other support staff to meet the individual needs of students.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of teaching resources and materials.
Requirements:
Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 3 is essential).
Experience in working within a Primary School or Nursery setting.
Thorough understanding of the curriculum and learning objectives.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Caring and compassionate approach towards students.
Strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for one
