We are looking for compassionate, resilient, and proactive Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at [School Name], a specialist setting for children and young people aged 5-16 with a range of needs including: BESD (Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties) EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plans) SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) Neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD, OCD, etc.) PRU experience (Pupil Referral Unit) Mental Health challenges (Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, etc.)As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our pupils succeed - both academically and personally - by providing individualised support and building positive, trusting relationships. About the Role: Work closely with teachers to support pupils' learning, behaviour, and emotional needs. Deliver tailored interventions and adapt activities to suit different learning styles and abilities. Provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils to engage and progress. Help create a calm, therapeutic, and inclusive classroom environment. Support the delivery of EHCP targets and contribute to progress reviews. Act as a key adult for pupils, offering encouragement, structure, and emotional support.We are looking for Teaching Assistants who: Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs (school, youth work, care, sports coaching, mentoring, etc.). Are nurturing, patient, and able to build strong relationships based on trust and respect. Are resilient and calm under pressure, using positive behaviour support strategies. Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Have excellent teamwork and communication skills
