Early Years Teaching Assistant – Epping Forest
Multiple Nursery & Preschool Sites | September 2025 Start | Flexible Hours
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Teaching Assistants to join a number of nurseries and early years settings across Epping Forest. This is a fantastic opportunity for Level 3 qualified practitioners, as well as students and graduates in Early Childhood Education, looking to build their experience and make a positive impact on young children’s development.
Whether you are looking for part-time or full-time work, we can offer flexibility to fit around your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the learning, play and care of children aged 0–5 in line with the EYFS framework
Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities
Help maintain a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment
Support children with personal care, mealtimes and transitions throughout the day
Work closely with nursery staff to monitor and encourage children’s progress
What We’re Looking For:
A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or working towards it)
Students or graduates of Early Childhood Education are welcome to apply
A caring, proactive and dependable approach to working with young children
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
Previous experience in a nursery, school or childcare setting is desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
