Teaching & Learning Assistant – Beormund School (SE1) - UES1
Term Time Only | 5 Days per Week (33.75 hours)
Grade 6, Spine Point 9–19 | Actual Salary: £25,832–£29,886 (FTE £31,884–£36,888)
Fixed contract with the possibility of going perm.

Beormund School is a specialist primary school supporting children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. Our pupils each have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) and present with a wide range of needs including communication difficulties (SCLN), trauma and attachment challenges, ADHD, ASD, and ODD. We are looking for someone with patience, empathy, and resilience who can build positive relationships and help our pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Ideal Candidate Will:

Have experience supporting children with SEMH or additional learning needs

Be calm, compassionate, and adaptable in a challenging but rewarding environment

Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Have excellent communication and behaviour management skills
