Every day at Norwood brings both challenges and moments of real impact. The young people here are strong, determined, and each live with autism and complex processing needs. Their behaviours can include aggression such as hitting, spitting, hair pulling, or ripping clothes. Some express themselves through very challenging language - from racial abuse to graphic conversations - and others are drawn into online obsessions. Strong background working with autism and behaviours that challenge.
Skilled in behaviour support, Team Teach, and de-escalation.
Resilient when faced with aggression, offensive language, or disturbing conversations.
