Are you ready to lead a dynamic team and drive transformational change in the planning landscape? Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Team Leader for Developer Contributions to join their thriving office
About the Role:
As the Team Leader, you will manage a diverse team of up to ten officers, including:
Principal Aviation Officer
Senior Infrastructure Planner
Developer Contributions Principal Planners (x2)
Developer Contributions Officers (Senior Planners) (x2)
Planner (new starter from late September)You will play a vital role in co-designing a work programme and service improvement plan for 2025/26, drawing from your expertise to ensure effective implementation.
What You'll Do:
Champion the best interests of Newham's residents
Lead and inspire a team through a period of transition
Transform service delivery and support colleague's growth
Provide technical guidance on planning obligations and infrastructure matters
Manage S106 compliance casework as needed
Participate in the recruitment of new team membersWhat We're Looking For:
