Job Description

Manufacturing Team Leader

Location: Ashton-in-Makerfield
Shifts: Rotating shifts – 6:00am-2:00pm / 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday to Friday
Pay Rate: £13.25 per hour

Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  * Lead, motivate, and support a team to achieve daily production targets.

  * Ensure products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards.

  * Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.

  * Carry out team briefings and provide training and support where required.

  * Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times.

  * Liaise with production management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

  * Complete production paperwork and reports accurately.

Requirements:

  * Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisor role within a manufacturing or production environment.

  * Strong leadership and communication skills.

  * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage priorities effectively.

  * Good problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.

  * A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
