Job Description
Team Leader required for a Cat Food Production Facility in SL2 area.
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who is based in Slough and are seeking an experienced Team Leader.
Shifts & Pay:
● Working hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, including a one-hour lunch break. This role typically follows standard working hours, though occasional flexibility may be required
● Pay rate: £17.31 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
● Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and support a team of 10 (and growing)
operatives, fostering a positive work environment.
● Order Fulfilment: Oversee the entire order fulfilment process, ensuring orders are
picked, packed, and dispatched on time, in full, and to our quality standards.
● Material Management: Manage incoming goods, oversee stock control procedures,
and ensure accurate inventory levels.
● Quality Control: Implement and monitor quality control checks throughout the
fulfilment process to maintain product quality.
● Health & Safety: Champion a strong health and safety culture within the facility,
ensuring compliance with all regulations and best practices.
● Process Improvement: Lead the review and improvement of our operational and
fulfilment processes, making recommendations to management to support business
growth and our evolving product offering
Required Skills & Qualifications:
● Proven experience in team leadership or supervisory roles in an industrial, production, or warehousing setting is required.
● Proven track record of leading and motivating a team of diverse people to hit their
goals, with a "People first" approach.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
● Highly detail-oriented with strong numerical skills
