Team Leader - Children's Residential Care
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: £29,500 per year + sleeps
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (days, evenings, weekends plus sleep-ins)
Start Monday is recruiting on behalf of a privately run children's residential care provider in Preston. We are seeking an experienced and a dedicated Team Leader to help provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing home for young people.
You'll lead and motivate your team, ensuring high standards of care and positive outcomes for every child and young person.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support staff during shifts to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
Build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and external professionals.
Maintain accurate records, care plans, and safeguarding standards.
Support the management team with daily operations and deputise when required.Requirements
Experience in residential childcare (essential).
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards it).
Confident leadership and communication skills.
Flexibility to work a range of shifts including sleep-ins.What's on Offer
