Team Leader – Production (Food Manufacturing)

Peterborough
£13.50 per hour
Permanent Position
Monday to Thursday | 06:00 – 16:30

Our client, a growing and successful manufacturing business in Peterborough, is seeking an experienced Production Team Leader to join their expanding production department.

Key Responsibilities

  * Lead and motivate a production team to achieve daily targets.

  * Ensure production runs efficiently while maintaining quality standards.

  * Monitor and improve productivity, safety, and performance.

  * Support training and development of production operatives.

  * Ensure compliance with food safety and health & safety procedures.

Requirements

  * Previous experience in a Team Leader (TL) or Line Leader (LL) role within a food manufacturing environment.

  * Strong leadership and communication skills.

  * Ability to work in a fast-paced production setting.

  * Good understanding of production processes and quality standards.

Desirable Skills

  * Experience operating Vertical Form Fill Seal (VFFS) machinery.

  * Food manufacturing engineering background.

  * Experience as a VFFS Machine Operator within a manufacturing environment (food or non-food).
