Job Description
Our client requires a Team Leader Welder/Fabricator to join their team. This company is looking for someone who is passionate about their position and able to liaise with potential and current clients about projects and additional works. They would like a person who has a strong team work culture and willing to nurture the team.
Your duties will include working closely with the Service Management in managing projects and workshop work, both being either on site or in the companies workshop. The projects will involve heavy, medium and light fabrication work, along with pipe works of different diameters.
You must:
* Be able to work as part of a team and communicate well.
* Present a professional image while on projects
* Must be proficient in working with mild steel, stainless steel & aluminum.
* Experience in welding horizontal, vertical and overhead.
* Experience in a heavy industrial environment.
* Experiences of long-to-short-term projects
* Strong team work culture attitude
You would be working 45 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with possibilities of weekend work. Overtime is available for the right people.
Your pay rate will be £17.00 per hour with additional overtime rates.
This position is on a temp to perm basis. After 14 successful weeks’ work, you could be employed permanently by the client.
