About the Role
As a Team Manager in the 0–25 Disabilities Service, you’ll lead from the front supporting your team of Social Workers to deliver high quality services to children and young people with complex and severe disabilities.
You’ll ensure effective statutory social care delivery, champion multi-agency collaboration, and oversee transition planning into adulthood—driving the best outcomes for families in Lambeth.
This is a pivotal role where your leadership will directly shape the direction and standards of a growing service designed to meet children’s needs with a clear focus on independence, inclusion, and outcomes.
About You

A Recognised Social Work Qualification and registration with Social Work England
*
Strong post-qualifying experience in children’s social care
*
Proven experience of managing complex caseloads and delivering statutory functions
*
A track record of leading social workers, driving good practice, and managing risk
*
A passion for supporting children and young people with disabilities through periods of change, including transition into adult servicesBefore You Apply
